CVG members have access to a shared equipment core for the analysis of mouse behavior, particularly the behavioral phenotyping of genetically altered strains. This equipment is available for use by arrangement within its facility in the ECRF at the College of Veterinary Medicine.

The Cornell Medical Genetic Archive
The Cornell Medical Genetic Archive (DNA bank) is a program at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine that links medical information from your pet to its DNA. This archive includes samples taken with owners consent from dogs, cats, horses, cows and exotic animals with a range of specific diseases.

Invitrogen Qubit 4 Fluorometer
The CVG has purchased an invitrogen Qubit 4 Fluorometer, housed with the Dept. of Biomedical Sciences in the Veterinary College, room T3-001 Veterinary Research Tower. This instrument will be available for use by CVG member labs without charge.
- Quick user instructions, and instrument manuals are located with the unit / posted on the NanoDrop computer.
- This is a standalone instrument (USB port for data export) and additionally connected to the NanoDrop Computer for data browsing.
- Labs will provide their own assay kits and materials for use.
