Join the CIP@Cornell Journal Club: Explore, Present, and Connect Through Proteomics
The Weill Institute’s Proteomics Hub invites members of the Cornell community to join and present at the CIP@Cornell Journal Club, a monthly gathering dedicated to exploring the latest research and applications in proteomics.
How do you use proteomics in your work? Which tools and technologies are shaping your research? Are you interested in connecting with colleagues across disciplines to spark new collaborations? Now is the time to get involved.
Over the past two years, the CIP@Cornell Journal Club has sparked engaging discussions on recent proteomics literature, showcased new data from CIP@Cornell members, and hosted hands-on workshops in data analysis. This fall, we are scheduling speakers for September, October, November, and December — and slots remain open.
Presenting at Journal Club offers participants the opportunity to:
- Practice scientific presentation skills in a supportive setting
- Engage with peers from diverse fields including biology, chemistry, genetics, bioinformatics, nutrition, plant biology, and biomedicine
- Share perspectives on new techniques, methods, or applications in proteomics
Graduate students, postdocs, faculty, and staff are all encouraged to participate. Articles may be drawn from a wide range of disciplines, or you may choose to lead a discussion on a specific technique or application of interest.
Sign up now to present and help strengthen Cornell’s growing proteomics community.
